Alliance Community Book Walk Opening at the AAC

The Asian American Center’s Alliance Community Book Walk will start on May 4th in celebration of National Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. We will have refreshments from 10am-12pm so please register so that we know how much to order: go.unc.edu/AACmooch

Not familiar with Book Walks? They are a way to encourage the reader to be involved in a story by walking through a space with a book’s pages spread out throughout. Each page of the story will be mounted on a board throughout the center’s space and the reader will be encouraged to physically move through the book by walking from page to page.

Each of our centers has selected a children’s book to display and invites members of all ages to join us at each of our spaces!
