Calling all artists/designers! Please help us create our 5th anniversary logo!
The Asian American Center is running a contest for UNC students, staff, faculty. Individuals or teams may submit a digital file of their design by 16 October 2024 at 5pm.
The design should:
* Use the number 5 in some way (word or numeral).
* Use the AAC’s branding colors (#4b9cd3 #13294b #54214a #f2b554 #ad8774 #e2d9c9)
* At least 10% of the total design should be Carolina blue
* Use of any other colors should be limited
* Be compact enough for varied use (more of a squarish/compact rectangular or circular shape than, say, a long horizontal banner)
* Make use only of the following text (optional): Asian American Center, AAC, UNC, Carolina, Tar Heel(s), anniversary, fifth/5th
If the design makes use of proprietary UNC logos, the use must conform to UNC branding guidelines (https://identity.unc.edu/), or the submitter should be open to the image being altered as required. Designs do not HAVE to include any UNC logos but in that case, will probably often be placed next to the UNC AAC official logo.
The winning design will be selected by the AAC and may be used on social media, public videos/materials, and/or swag. The artist/team will be credited and profiled on the AAC website and social media. Use of the design must be exclusive to the AAC except for portfolios/applications.
The prize will be a Fujifilm Instax Mini EVO Hybrid Instant Camera Black Bundle and an AAC swag bag!
