Council of Student Organizations Fall 2023 Meeting

The ACC invites one representative (president or vice-president preferred) of each UNC Asian American interest student groups to our Council of Student Organizations meeting on Friday, November 17th at 1:30pm in the Graduate Student Center (211a West Cameron Avenue)

Agenda & discussion questions:
- Introductions
- Community Service Opportunity: Transplanting Traditions, a local refugee farming association, seeks student mentoring and volunteering. Paw Paw Wei from TT will speak briefly about the organization and their needs. We will begin with this item due to Ms. Wei’s schedule.
- What is each student organization working on/prioritizing this year? (Events, programs, community service, collaborations) AAC staff discuss plans and priorities for this year as well.
- Opportunities for collaboration among orgs/with AAC? Discussion.
- Funding discussion: Alliance grants and AAC grant pilot. Tips on suitable projects and applications.
- AAC Project Incubator (SEPIA) and how it might be useful to students/student orgs: spread the word!
