Alliance Screening: Manzanar Diverted, When Water Becomes Dust

Join the Alliance on Thursday, June 6th from 11am-1pm at the Graduate Student Center (211a West Cameron Avenue) for a community film screening and discussion!

We will be watching Manzanar, Diverted: When Water Becomes Dust, a documentary about intergenerational women from Native American, Japanese American and rancher communities that form an alliance to defend their land and water.

Screening followed by a discussion lead by the American Indian Center and the Asian American Center.

About the Alliance:
Founded in 2021, the Alliance brings together four key Academic and Community Engagement Centers on campus, including the Sonja Hayes Stone Center for Black Culture and History/IAAR, the American Indian Center, the Carolina Latinx Center and the Asian American Center.
